Alex Wilhelm

Alex Wilhelm is a dedicated drummer who has been working in the Austin, TX area since 2011. He started off playing with the classic rock cover band "Boswell" and has grown to play in multiple bands of a variety of styles including; Jazz, Country, Pop, Alternative, Metal and Punk. Alex is known for his ability to groove, his versatile playing style, and ability to play dynamically. Some notable venues he has played include the Austin City Limits Music Festival, SXSW, The Shell and Penzoil Grand Prix of Houston, and GrapeFest. 

In 2019, Alex Wilhelm obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Music Perforamance at Southwestern University. At Southwestern, Alex focused particularly on orchestral percussion and jazz drum set. Some of the additional percussion instruments Alex can play include: Marimba, Vibraphone, Timpani, Xylophone, Glockenspiel, and Steel Pan.
